An entrepreneur, Kohls has worked as a freelance designer for the past 15 years. A one time owner of her own ladies apparel store in Birmingham, Alabama, she was voted Birmingham’s “outstanding business woman.” Kohls has served as manager of a 20,000 square foot accessory showroom at the Atlanta Gift Mart and has worked in sales and floor displays at Sugar Beach Interiors in Destin. She is co-founder of “Heart to Cross Ministries,” an Emerald Coast women’s ministry. She attended the University of Alabama, Birmingham.
